The French government has expressed concerns over the security arrangements for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, and the astrology supports their concerns. This astrological analysis is taken from the perspective of the sub-periods of the Age of Aquarius. The occasional astrologer seems to be aware that astrological ages such as the Age of Aquarius at about 2155 years have decans of slightly more than 700 years each, but research has discovered far more than mere decans. There are sub-ages of about 178 years, and micro-age of almost 15 years, and even nano-ages of around 15 months each. Each of these also has their respective decans. Unlike the transits of the outer planets aspecting each other at specific points, ages and their sub-periods are not points but periods of times, sometimes extended periods of time.
The most relevant periods associated with the astrological ages are the 15-month nano-ages, 5 month nano-age decans and 5-year micro-age decans. Sport is associated with two signs – Aries and Leo, with Leo particularly related to the grandiosity of sport such as stadiums and gala events, while Aries focuses on the more physical and competitive side. The first modern Olympic Games organized by the International Olympic Committee occurred in 1896, when Aries was dead center on its peak associated with the Aries micro-age and overflow (1881 – 1896 – 1910). This is a classic example of how accurate the astrological ages can be provided the correct rectification is used – and there is only one correct rectification.
The signs Libra and Aquarius, sitting opposite the Game’s Aries and Leo, are currently very strong which is not a positive situation for the Olympic Games or major sporting events such as the Commonwealth Games. The world is in the Age of Aquarius (1433 – 3581) but in 2024, we are in the fourth sub-age of the Age of Aquarius – the Libra sub-age (1970 – 2149). Immediately this should raise eyebrows, as here is Libra, the opposite sign to Aries, and therefore keen to undermine Aries sport at every opportunity. The main opportunity for the Libra sub-age to be activated is when it encounters a smaller Libra period such as a Libra nano-age or nano-age decan, Libra micro-age or Libra micro-age decan including their respective overflow periods. Coincidentally, both Aquarius and Libra are accordingly activated and potent for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The Libra sub-age has 12 micro-ages. The current micro-age is the Gemini micro-age (2000 – 2029). The first two decans in the Gemini micro-age chronologically are the Aquarius micro-age decan followed by the Libra micro-age decan (see table below). Considering that ages and all their subperiods behave like waves, the time assigned to each age and subperiod aligns to its formative time, and its influence becomes strongest at its end and then washes over the following period like a tsunami. Therefore, the Libra micro-decan and overflow (Dec 2019 – Nov 2024 – Nov 2029) is approaching its peak strength later this year in November 2024 and will be peaking until at least mid-2027.
This table displays the positive (yellow highlights) and negative (grey highlights) for the period August 2023 to July 2033.
Therefore, the Paris Olympic Games will occur under Libra – a sign antithetical to sporting activities. Overlapping the Libra micro-age decan and overflow is the Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 2014 – Nov 2019 – Nov 2024) and due to even smaller sub-periods, this Aquarius period is highly accentuated for most of 2024 due to the Aquarius nano-age decan and overflow (Jan 2024 – Jun 2024 – Nov 2024) which will be at maximum potential for harm in mid-2024 aligned to the Olympic Games. Aquarius opposes the Olympics’ Leo. With both Libra and Aquarius so strongly accentuated for the Paris Olympics, this is unfortunate, and history supports this assessment.
In addition, the Scorpio nano-age overflow (Aug 2023 – Nov 2024) is in force, and while Scorpio sits within France’s astrological signature, the sign of death and terrorism is not necessarily what anyone would want in place while putting on a major event.
Many Olympic games have had their struggles or issues. Probably the most notable one was the massacre of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games. This occurred only a couple of years after the 1970 peak influences of both the Scorpio sub-age and overflow (1791 – 1970 – 2149) and Scorpio micro-age and overflow (1955 – 1970 – 1975). Scorpio is opposite Taurus – a key sign for Jews and Israel and Scorpio promotes massacres and deaths. Hamas’ attack on Israel in September 2023 occurred at the peak influence of another Scorpio period which remains in force for the Paris Olympic Games – the Scorpio nano-age and overflow (May 2022 – Aug 2023 – Nov 2024).
Examining canceled or postponed Olympic Games is also insightful. The 1916 Berlin Olympic Games was cancelled due to the First World War (1914-1918). This occurred at the peak strength of the Libra micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 2010 – Nov 2015 – Oct 1920) and is the last time the world experienced Libra to the extent we will be experiencing for most of the rest of this decade (see The Next BIG Thing for more on Libra). Libra stokes major conflict and opposition when it is strong. This Libra micro-age decan and overflow sits within an Aquarius micro-age (1910 – 25) and so to a certain extent is similar to 2024 where both Libra and Aquarius are active again. The 1940 and 1944 games were canceled due to the Second World War. The Japan 1940 games would have occurred not only at the tail end of the Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow (1910 – 1925 – 1940) but also in its sting-in-the-tail with the Aquarius nano-age and overflow (Mar 1938 – May 1939 – Aug 1940). Aquarius opposes the Leo aspect of the Olympic Games.
The canceled 1944 Italian Olympics occurred in the strongest part (third quarter) of the Capricorn micro-age decan and overflow (1925 – 1940 – 1955), and in this instance, Capricorn’s dampening effect was definitely in play. The only other Capricorn period of note is the Capricorn micro-age decan and overflow (May 1975 – Apr 1980 – Apr 1985) when the Moscow Olympics of 1980 experienced a major boycott by the USA and another 65 countries due to protests against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and so it became the non-Olympic Games! Capricorn does not need to oppose Aries and Leo to upset the Games as its potential negativity is always waiting for an opportunity in any situation.
The 2020 Tokyo Olympics was postponed to 2021 aligned to the peaking of Aquarius in late 2019 and early 2020 with the Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 2014 – Dec 2019 – Nov 2024). This Aquarius period is the only Aquarius period of strength since the Aquarius micro-age and overflow that canceled the Italian Olympics due to the Second World War. Aquarius brings disruption such as the world experienced with Covid.
The 2024 Paris Olympic Games sits squarely under the tail end of the Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 2014 – Dec 2019 – Nov 2024) and occurs at its sting-in-the-tail associated with the Aquarius nano-age and overflow (Jan 2024 – Jun 2024 – Nov 2024). This has similarities to the astrological circumstances associated with the canceled Japanese Olympic Games of 1940. Taking into account the strong connection between Leo plus Scorpio and France, and Aquarius’ antipathy to Leo Olympic Games and that Aquarius sits at the 4th house position to France’s Scorpio, this does not bode well for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Its even a possibility that Israeli athletes may experience some kind of threat at the Games due to this Scorpio.
My only direct experience of the Olympic Games was the 2000 Sydney Olympics when I was in Sydney, Australia briefly for the lead-up and first few days of the Games. It was transformative for Sydney, with the construction of major venues, a total transportation revamp, and it was even party time in the streets. I think it was described as the best Olympics ever. These Olympics occurred at one of the major astrological peaks for the Olympics, being the highpoint of the Leo micro-age and overflow (1985 – 2000 – 2014). Sydney astrologically lucked out with these Olympics, but the world now finds itself in the opposite corner for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The 2024 Paris Olympics has the signs Libra and Aquarius active. The Libra micro-age decan is very close to its peak power (in November 2024) supported by the Libra nano-age. The last time this occurred the 1916 Berlin Olympic Games were cancelled due to war. The last time an Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow was active was at the cancellation of the Japanese Olympic Games of 1940. With both Aquarius and Libra in place for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, the likelihood of some kind or problem or problems is high. On a slightly more positive tone, the Aquarius full moon on 19/20 August 2024 occurs after the Paris Olympic Games which finish on 11 August. This would not have been a favorable full moon to be associated with the Games.
