The population of the USA is deserting the fundamentalist Christian bloc in droves, and have been doing so for decades. This seismic socio-political change is mainly being wrought by the young who are increasingly rejecting the belief systems of established religions. As this dissolution of the WASP and established religious base in American politics continue, conservatives are clutching at straws. The main straw is Donald Trump.
Donald Trump, who represents everything the hard religious right despises, has made an unholy alliance with the fundamentalist religious base where they overlook his many ‘moral’ shortcomings in exchange for his support for their sinking ship. Is Trump the last hurrah of the extremist’s fundamentalist religious influence in the USA?
Any unbiased observer will notice that since the rise of western society, coinciding with the arrival of the Age of Aquarius in the 15th century, there has been a progressive or growing liberal agenda in western nations, but not without some serious temporary setbacks at times. This growing liberal agenda also appears to be accelerating. For example, even in my lifetime, in the Australia of the 1960s the police were able to physically attack gay people with impunity but now one country after another is legalizing gay marriage. This is just one of many traditional social issues that have been upended by the onslaught of the liberal revolution.
There are just so many examples of the ongoing surge of liberalism but strangely, many liberal-oriented folk do not seem to be able to recognize this surge away from conservative-religious political values. They see Trump as some kind of cataclysmic development sending society full steam astern. Did Hitler with all his armed forces turn back the tide of western liberalism? The evolutionary stride of western society is like the incoming tide, not every wave forces itself further up the beach, but on average, they do.
According to the Public Religious Research Institute, we will be saved by the young as they progressively distance themselves from mainstream religions and become ‘unaffiliated’. The growth of the unaffiliated young religious voters in the USA is the greatest socio-political development since the 1990’s – 1991 to be specific. The result: “Today, only 43% of Americans identify as white and Christian, and only 30% as white and Protestant. In 1976, roughly eight in ten (81%) Americans identified as white and identified with a Christian denomination, and a majority (55%) were white Protestants.”
The arch-conservative fundamentalist religious base that overwhelmingly voted for Trump in the 2016 presidential elections is on the slippery slope towards insignificance, and therefore they are clutching at straws. However, even if this base becomes increasingly irrelevant as the 21st century proceeds, it must be replaced by something because the primary sign associated with the USA is Pisces symbolically represented by two fish swimming in opposite directions. The USA will remain the greatest example of the juxtaposition of liberalism and fundamentalist conservatism in the world.
Is Trump representative of this new conservative fish? Most likely – as he is obviously only a thin-skinned Christian (for public political purposes only) and he represents the rich conservative side of politics with neo-fascist leanings where patriotism, authority and loyalty are more important than democracy and freedoms. Trump is the new face of crass corporate America intruding upon the political landscape. Trump needed the support of the religious right, the new unemployed or underemployed semi-destitute and the right wing extremists.
The research by the Public Religious Research Institute indicates that the religious right, that Trump depended upon, is steadily going down the gurgler and so future politicians of Trump’s ilk will increasingly need to depend less upon the religious conservatives and more upon the gun toting voting public, disenchanted workers wanting to turn back the clock and the extremist whackos strongly supported by corporate neo-fascists such as Rupert Murdoch (owner of Fox News).
The astrology indicates that the growth of corporate fascism this century will reach a pinnacle in 2088 due to the Aquarius sub-age decan and overflow (2029 – 2088 – 2148) which will strongly influence world politics in the period 2088 to 2148. This is not a one-sided affair, as it also indicates the massive growth of liberalism, socialism and progressive political agendas. This will occur in nearly all western societies, but accentuated in the USA due to its primary Pisces nature.

The evolution of any society is usually messy. Many on the liberal left have a Goldilocks mentality and when something does not go their way (in the short term), they think the sky is falling in. The main stress point for the evolution of liberalism in the world is the USA, not only due to its Pisces rulership, but because it is also the age empire of our time similar to Ancient Rome and Ancient Egypt associated with the previous two astrological ages respectively. The clash between liberal and conservative forces is played out in the USA like some kind of gigantic melodrama or soap opera due to Pisces ruling the USA.
Why did the Public Religious Research Institute discover that we will we be saved by the young? It’s all due to the Gemini sub-age decan and overflow (1970 – 2029 – 2088) and Gemini always favors youth, which in this day and age are hypnotized by their handheld communication devices! Historically, most generations are dismissive of their following generations, but fortunately it appears that the young are increasingly dismissive of the baggage associated with the older generations, especially their religious belief systems.
Another astrological factor in the dissolution of established religious dogma is that religion is generally associated with Sagittarius and the current Gemini sub-age decan and overflow is exactly opposite in nature to Sagittarius. We have already seen the opening salvo of Gemini undermining established religions with the exposure of the many pedophiles entrenched within and protected by the established religions over the last four or five decades. It is also important to remember that the current Gemini period remains in its infancy, and so we better prepare for Gemini in full force from 2029 onward.
